Schools and other groups can apply for grants of £250 - £2,500 from Branching Out – The Tree Council to establish trees, hedgerows, and orchards in the 2023/24 planting season. Closing date is 3 December 2023.

Register your interest to be notified when applications for the 2022-23 winter planting season open. All nurseries, primary, secondary and special schools (who have not previously participated in the Orchards for Schools programme) are eligible.

Apply to the Tree Council for a fantastic opportunity and resources to help tackle the climate and nature crises by delivering a Young Tree Champion project in your school. Free trees
The I Dig Trees campaign from TCV and OVO Energy is providing 600,000 free trees to community groups and organisations across England, Wales and Scotland. Packs are available of 50 trees, including oak, birch and rowan. Maximum 19 packs per application. Trees can be ordered for delivery up to the end of March, but are going fast!
