This includes reference to an access package to green spaces for children and disadvantaged young people, in England.
Professor Miles Richardson has commented on this news in this Finding Nature post (5 December): From Metrics to Mindsets: How We Can Ensure a Love for the Natural World. He notes that ‘Simply increasing the opportunity to access nature does not necessarily foster a genuine orientation to engage with nature’.
He also references Generation Green, a project which used pathways to nature connectedness to connect young people with nature.
