The Forest School Association have signposted this newly published paper (online, 21 July 2023)  by Samantha Friedman, et al.

This paper shares research on this subject, and considers how nature-based learning may be made more accessible for autistic people. Four main domains are considered: safety, structure and routine, trust, and responsiveness.

Advice is given which should support both teachers with experience of autism, and practitioners experienced in delivering experiential programmes outdoors.
