Greenspace Scotland has shared The Edinburgh Growing Together project in their latest e-bulletin.
Much of this Edible Estates work has been conducted by Growing Youth, a social enterprise supported by the council’s Additional Support for Learning Service (ASLS) that educates young people in horticulture and construction.
Project work also includes Natural Play workshops which take children out to nearby woods and greenspaces for free play in the outdoors, and the creation of School Farm projects in primary schools, where children are learning to grow throughout the year.
