Learning through Landscapes and Architecture & Design Scotland are collaborating on the ‘Climate Ready School Grounds’ project through 2022-23.
The project will connect the Scottish Learning for Sustainability, Learning Estate Strategy and Climate Change Plan. This will be done through consultation and collaboration, and sharing guidance with both architects and landscape architects, as well as school leaders, teachers and pupils.
The long term aim is to transform the outdoor spaces in our schools to places that mitigate and reduce the impacts of climate change, while offering first-hand experience and learning for pupils.
