This report finds an increase in the proportion of people visiting the outdoors on a weekly basis (up from 52% in 2017 to 59% in 2018 – the highest level reported since the time series began in 2006) and the continuing increase in the proportion of people who view climate change as an immediate and urgent problem (up from 46% in 2013 to 65% in 2018, with the biggest increase occurring among 16-24 year olds).
