The John Muir Trust has shared news of its annual report summarising John Muir Award activity taking place with schools in Scotland (22 September 2023).
This includes the following statistics:
- 384 schools involved in delivering the John Muir Award in Scotland (up 3% on 2021-22)
- 14,530 Awards achieved by pupils and staff (up 2% on 2021-22)
- 3,377 Awards achieved by pupils who experience some form of disadvantage
- 3,524 Awards with residential experiences (up 79% on 2021-22)
