The Scottish Government consultation on the draft Regulations on Open Space Strategies and Play Sufficiency Assessment has been published (17 December 2021). This consultation seeks feedback from those who will use the legislation, plus other interested parties and the wider public.
The consultation will run until 31st March 2022 (in line with the closing date for the consultations on Draft NPF4 and Local Development Plans).
From the start of 2022, Greenspace Scotland are working with Play Scotland and A Place In Childhood to seek the views of children and young people from across Scotland, of different ages and backgrounds. Tailored questionnaires suitable for children and young people will be used to engage either online or in facilitated workshop sessions.
