Description

The Scottish Government is exploring ways of encouraging people to enjoy the outdoors in Scotland, with all the benefits that this can bring, whilst improving awareness of health protection messages about staying safe outdoors, messages such as how to reduce the risk of getting bitten by ticks, and how to make sure the water you are drinking is safe.

This workshop (1030 – 1500) aims to provide a platform for engagement between organisations who have an occupational or recreational relationship with the outdoors to increase our understanding of:
• what the main outdoor health protection issues and challenges are,
• what is currently being done to raise awareness of these issues
• what we can do collaboratively to help improve messaging and engagement
