Who we are
Scotland’s Outdoor Learning Directory is a collaboration between NatureScot, Scottish Forestry, Forestry and Land Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, Cairngorms National Park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and the Scottish Advisory Panel for Outdoor Education. We also work with partners from Scottish Environmental Protection Agency, Scottish Government and Education Scotland
Your rights
You have some rights over how information about you is used. These rights include the right to object to how we process your personal information; to access your information, to correct inaccuracies, in some circumstances to delete and restrict how we use your personal information. You also have a right to complain to us and the UK Information Commissioner (ICO) (ico.org.uk)
How we gather personal data
The Outdoor Learning Directory operates as a portal to other websites, both to the partner agency websites listed above, and other digital resources. In this case, the privacy statements of the signposted organisation websites will apply. We do obtain peoples’ information from other organisations we work with such as the Scottish Government or Local Authorities.
How we use your personal data
Please refer to the privacy statements on any signposted organisation website. In managing the Outdoor Learning Directory we only collect information we need. We may use this to make site improvements, respond to your queries (from the contact page) and improve this resource.
Sharing and transferring personal data
We do share some personal information with our partner organisations. We may also share information with contractors/suppliers who are helping us carry out work on this website resource.
