Lockdown survey gives voice to Scotland’s most disadvantaged young people

Youthlink Scotland have shared an MCR Pathways survey report on the experience of coronavirus lockdown for over 1,000 secondary school pupils across Scotland. One participant commented “It’s just hard, I’m an outside person, a nature boy, I love being outside but now its gone for now so its just stressful I love my family but being with each other 24/7 puts a lot of stress on us”. With regard to the impact on mental wellbeing, 50% of young people reported feeling more anxious and stressed compared with before the pandemic.
