This online course is delivered in eight weekly twilight sessions and starts on Wednesday 5th March 2025.

Several free places are available for anyone working, volunteering or leading outdoor learning in a community learning context in Scotland.

The course aims to offer educators and leaders in outdoor learning an opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge to apply Community Learning and Development practice outdoors, in a range of professional settings such as youth work, adult learning and Early Learning and Childcare.

Funded by Inspiring Scotland Thrive Outdoors, this Microcredential course (20 credits) will be a key element in professional development with bodies such as the Community Learning and Development Standards Council.
