The Independent reports on a study from Vancouver, Canada (1 November 2021), which found that children who grow up in greener areas develop better.  This has been published in The Lancet Planetary Health journal. The study co-author states that “urban planning efforts to increase green space in residential neighbourhoods and around schools are beneficial for early childhood development, with potential health benefits throughout life.”
